1. North Area Planning Committee (NSC) – CHAIR
2. Launched a campaign to BRING BACK THE RAILWAY to Portishead
3. Started a volunteer group to clear the OLD RAILWAY LINE of overgrown vegetation.
4. Founder GORDANO VALLEY TRANSPORT GROUP
5. Set up the LOCAL ACTION TEAM superseded by PACT
6. Organised 2 CABSTAND PROTEST MARCHES in Portishead where over 2,500 people attended, result: forced a review and the traffic lights were removed which eased traffic congestion
7. Negotiated with Diocese of Wells, the release of church owned land to enable SOUTH VIEW to be widened for parking to the benefit of local residents
